The International Plan is GT's globally-focused degree designation, recognizing students who make global competence a core part of their GT experience. The program requires students to engage in twenty-six weeks of international experience, develop proficiency in a foreign language, and take global coursework.
I-House is a Living Learning Community in Gray and Hayes Houses for undergraduate GT students and visiting exchange students interested in promoting cultural exchange and awareness through film, sport, cuisine, culture, language, and outreach.
OIE facilitates intercultural learning activities to promote effective communication and collaboration across the GT community. We offer tailored trainings for faculty, staff, and students to reduce cross-cultural misunderstanding and improve relationships across cultures.
TECHsplore and TECHsplore Summer provide the only pathway for international, non-degree-seeking students to study at GT without an exchange agreement. Both programs provide visiting students with pre-arrival support, on-site advising, orientation, and cultural programming.
International Education Week is a week-long celebration of international education and cultural exchange in mid-November each year. OIE partners with academic departments, student clubs, and other campus partners to host events celebrating IEW's mission.
