This week the Board of Regents approved tuition rates for Summer 2020. We are pleased to share that the tuition rates for summer 2020 will continue as previously announced. In recognition of the remote delivery format of summer instruction, only the Technology Fee and Special Institutional Fee will be charged during the summer term. No other mandatory and elective fees will be charged for Summer 2020.

Additionally, we will be able to honor the lower study abroad and Georgia Tech-Lorraine tuition rates for non-residents. Specifically, for students previously registered in the summer semester for study abroad that rate would equal in-state tuition; and for Georgia Tech-Lorraine the rate would be in-state tuition + $5,000. We hope you will choose to enroll in summer remote and remote delivery courses.

In many cases, the courses you were planning to take through your international education experience will be available for remote delivery and this study abroad or Georgia Tech-Lorraine tuition rate is applicable for all summer remote courses students you are registered to take. Please visit for more information and to register for summer classes.

We regret that disruptions due to the novel coronavirus pandemic interfered with your international education plans and that you will now be unable to engage in this unique and life-changing experience. We hope that you will be able to defer those plans to a future semester. Please visit and for updated information about future international opportunities.
